Through Dialogue and Interaction: Join Baruch Connects Events for October 2024
Dear Baruch Community,
Earlier this semester, I announced Baruch Connects, an initiative that embodies Baruch College’s core values of collaboration and connection and our overarching commitment to care and respect. A key part of this initiative is the Respectful Dialogue Series—an ongoing opportunity for open, respectful conversations throughout the academic year. We are also expanding our intercultural celebrations, including the recognition of new holidays on the CUNY calendar. We will honor and celebrate Diwali on Thursday, Oct. 31.
We encourage you to participate in any or all of this month’s activities:

Light refreshments will be served; RSVP here.

We live in a world full of violence and division, where change is necessary. But how do we advocate for justice while healing relationships and building communities? Join Kazu Haga, a renowned trainer in nonviolence and restorative justice, as he explores the role of dialogue in creating social change.
A reception with light refreshments will follow the keynote address; RSVP here.
