Baruch’s Task Force For The Future

    Dear Faculty and Staff,

I am pleased to report that incoming President Dr. S. David Wu and I launched Baruch’s Task Force for the Future with a first meeting on Thursday, May 28. At that meeting, we agreed to be extremely transparent and to inform and consult with the Baruch community.

In that spirit, we’ve created a Task Force for the Future website, where you can find the roster of task force members; the “Charge to the Task Force,” which was presented by President-Designate Wu at the meeting; a copy of the meeting’s agenda; and a feedback form.

In the coming days and weeks, we will continue to add material that we use in our discussions, as well as all meeting minutes, to the website. Please not only stay tuned, but use the feedback form on the website to provide suggestions and comments.

This is a very important “task,” and we urge all of you to follow our proceedings and to send us your views and comments.

    Sincerely,

    James McCarthy

Interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
    Administrator in Charge (June 1, 2020-June 30, 2020)
