Baruch College Begins Reaccreditation Process: Your Participation is Requested
Dear Baruch Community,
Baruch College has begun the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) reaccreditation process, which requires that we conduct a self-study and participate in a peer review. This exercise is a two-year effort, with completion anticipated in Fall 2027.
The reaccreditation process, which occurs every eight years, provides an opportunity for institutional self-reflection, focusing on mission-driven strategic priorities derived from the College’s Strategic Plan toward the goals of continuous improvement and institutional effectiveness. The self-study aligns with the upcoming midpoint review of Baruch’s Strategic Plan 2023-28, offering a valuable opportunity to reflect on our progress towards achieving those benchmarks.
The Self-Study Design, which sets the foundation for the entire process, is now available on our MSCHE webpage, along with a survey for your feedback. Your participation will be a significant contribution to the success of this effort.
This Thursday, November 20, from 12:30–2:30 pm in the 2nd Floor lobby of the Newman Vertical Campus, you can meet members of the Self Study Committee along with our vibrant student volunteers to learn more about the process and take the survey.
Sincerely,
S. David Wu
President, Baruch College
